On March 15, the appraisal meeting of high-speed bearings for new energy vehicles of C&U. organized by the China Bearing Industry Association was successfully held in Shanghai.

The expert members of the Achievement Appraisal Committee are held by well-known experts in the industry such as China Bearing Industry Association, Henan University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, Shanghai University of Applied Sciences and Shanghai Dajun Power Control Technology Co., Ltd., covering industry associations, universities and OEMs. This appraisal meeting will mainly focus on three projects: the key technology and industrialization of high-speed deep groove ball bearings for new energy vehicles, the research and application of multi-step coupling high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15) strengthening technology, and the research and application of high-end car high-rigidity wheel bearing technology. The results were reviewed and appraised. The experts listened to the project team’s plan report, reviewed the technical data, and after inquiries and discussions, the experts of the appraisal committee fully affirmed and recognized the above project results.

As the country further deepens energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, the replacement of oil-powered vehicles by new energy electric vehicles is the future direction of development. With the support and encouragement of the state, key components such as bearings for new energy vehicles have developed rapidly, but at present, new energy vehicle bearings are mainly dependent on imports, which affects the healthy development of our new energy vehicles. Through technical research, C&U has successfully developed a series of special bearings dedicated to new energy vehicles in China to meet the localization of new energy vehicles and future development needs.

C&Us current development of new energy vehicle drive motor bearings has reached the international advanced level in terms of high-speed performance, temperature rise, grease leakage, fatigue life and other tests. At present, through the market application and verification of domestic well-known drive motor mainframe customers, the new energy drive motor bearing can meet the market demand, and has received batch orders from domestic mainframe manufacturers. C&U has invested in multiple new energy automobile bearing production lines,obtaining stable product quality, and has been widely recognized by the industry. At the same time, the product has been jointly developed with internationally renowned OEMs and successed , especially in the high-speed performance design and test technology to achieve original innovation, this technology offers feasibility for the development of products.
