Structure of rolling bearing

Most rolling bearings are composed of inner ring, outer ring, rolling element (ball and roller) and cage. For sealed bearings, it also includes seal, shield and lubricant.

Inner ring and outer ring

The inner raceway, outer raceway and rolling element form an organic rotating unit, with the cage separating the rolling element and enabling it to move along the correct track.

Rolling element

Rolling elements can be divided into balls and rollers according to their shapes, while rollers can be further divided into cylindrical rollers, tapered rollers, needles and spherical rollers.

Cage

The cage does not bear the load directly. It is mainly used to maintain the correct position and interval of the rolling elements and to prevent the rolling element from falling off during installation. The cage is divided into stamping cage, solid cage, plastic cage and so on.
